Absolutly horrible location. Trying to get larger uhauls or trailers around buildings is a hassle, not to mention all of the red clay mud that damaged and stained our belongings and mold and mildew that was the cause of water coming into the unit during a rain. Soft mud made it hard to get in and out, and almost got stuck trying to turn around to get out. Everything about this experience had been horrible, and upsetting due to damaged belongings. ... Absolutely horrible customer service. We didn’t have a lock on our unit so they installed theirs. Told us once we had ours on there they would remove theirs that same week. It has now been a month and we cannot get their lock removed and cannot get any return communication. We live two hours away and have made three trips there to get stuff out but cannot get into our unit. This place is the worst!!!! ... Read more

Do not recommend this location. There is no room to turn around large uhauls or trailers. Rocks big enough to trip an adult when it's dry or absolute sinkhole mud mess. Our bed and so much ruined with red mud. Almost twisted our ankles several times due to mud holes just sinking below our feet. This has been an awful experience moving stuff in and moving things out. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at KO Storage - 1262 TX-300 include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 500 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by KO Storage - 1262 TX-300 start from $40 and can go up to $357 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
