Awful experience. We currently rent a 10x10 unit and they increased the rent from $60 to $85 after 6 months claiming “supply and demand” pricing. Not reasonable for me, but my first experience renting was good so I decided to down size to a 5x10 for $40. They didn’t have a unit that I could see but one was available online so I booked and paid for it. When we went to unit we measured the width and it was 3’10”. the opening was less & couldn’t fit our furniture. We called to cancel and spoke to “Hara”. She said, the agreement says “approximately” and your $29 admin fee(move in) is non refundable. I said, but I didn’t move in and I should get that back because this is not as advertised 5x10. Hara replied, Sorry the contract says approximately and admin fee is not refundable. After saying this three times I asked her if I could speak to somebody else. She said I can let you speak to somebody else, but they will tell you the it’s not refundable. Afterwards, I spoke to Kevin & explained the story and he agreed that he would refund the admin fee. What they tell me now is it’ll take up to 2 weeks to get a refund. Waiting to see and looking for another place. ... Read more

Beware! Fraudulent enducement: They will INCREASE your rental by nearly 50% after a few months betting on the fact that it would be inconvenient for you to move out. No reasonable person would rent from this place knowing this in advance. When I looked online, they are selling it lower than what I am currently paying while telling me that the increase from $95 (plus insurance) to $140 (minus insurance) is based on supply and demand. See pics for reference. This type of fraud is ripe for lawsuits. Jokes on them, it's not too inconvenient for me to take my business somewhere else. ... Read more

I had the most tremendous wonderful experience at this storage unit. The last storage unit I went to was robbed but this place I love leaving my antiques and my precious values and a safe place very good atmosphere friendly lady that was at the desk always has a smile on her face when I come in ready to be of service and help me with all money if it wasn’t for her quality of assistance in service and making sure that my antique are in a good stores place. I would’ve never came. Thank you Mrs. McBroom. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 6355 WJ Boaz Road include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 6355 WJ Boaz Road start from $18 and can go up to $219 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
