For sure one of the better storage places in Denton, prices are a touch cheaper. The place doesn’t have crazy inclines and declines for water drainage. Also doesn’t look ghetto like some of the other options in town. Manager was very straight forward when I spoke with him which I can appreciate. ... Read more

Save yourself a huge heartache and go elsewhere. These people are not the least bit concerned about helping anyone, not even in an emergency. I should have known what I was dealing with when I was in the hospital 20 of 30 days 2 months ago and all they cared to do was adding fee after fee to my bill. I assured them I would be getting my things out just last week so my unit would be safe from auction before the date I was told, just to find they sold it days earlier than they told me. 60 years of my life gone forever at the hands of very greedy people. I give them my word they haven't heard the last from me, I promise that! I certainly hope in the end it will be worth what KARMA will serve them! The 1 star is a stretch because there isn't a ZERO which they definitely deserve! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at SecurCare Self Storage - 550 Fort Worth Drive include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 200 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by SecurCare Self Storage - 550 Fort Worth Drive start from $68 and can go up to $185 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
