Read some helpful reviews of Texas 21 Storage at 6024 East Hwy 21, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I recently moved my household storage items to Texas 21 Storage. I found the location clean, well maintained, and convenient. The price is very competitive, and management claims that they only rarely raise the rates. My last storage rental quadrupled with 18 months and kept rising. Thus far, I'm very satisfied with Texas 21 Storage and recommend them highly. ... Read more

Highly recommend storing with Texas 21 storage facility. Caleb is incredibly helpful, kind and quick to provide services to meet any needs even ones that change unexpectedly. The customer service is by far some of the best I have ever experienced. The prices are also extremely budget friendly! Literally the best so happy to have found them! ... Read more

Like most others who have reviewed TX 21, I have had a good experience overall, I have nothing negative to say. However without going into a bunch of details, I recommend that if it isn't in writing, don't count on it! Believe only what is in your written agreement! The reason that I recommend only following what is in your written agreement is due to the fact that in the beginning of my doing business with TX 21 Storage which was mid December, 2024 I came in from out of town with two seadoos on a trailer and I was needing a place to stor them. I contacted TX21 to see if they could accommodate. I am not exatly sure of what time it was that evening however it was dark outside. Was definitely evening. When I called I wasn't expecting anyone to answer I was planning to leave a message for my call to be returned the following morning. I was surprised as Caleb answered the phone. He was very friendly and said come on over. I went looked at one unit and asked to see a larger one. I explained to Caleb that I currently had two other storage units rented at a different facility and that I was looking to get away from there due to several different reasons such as the customer service was horrible! They had just gotten the electricity turned back on after exactly one month of it being turned off, the gates left wide open, 24/7 so of course there was no surveillance during that month as there was no power! I could not even get an explanation of why this was happening yet still on the very first day of missing a payment they would lock you out, I had three separate units rented there for close to a year. I pay my bills! Occasionally I may be a day or two, maybe three or four sometimes as I am a contractor, and at times money may be a little tight, sometimes I have to wait on money, but regardless I pay my bills! To lock you out when you are one day late I feel is borderline saying to your customers "we don't give a damn about you" a customer with three units for a year who always makes his payment! If it is an every month occurrence I can understand. Anyway that facility closes at 10:00 pm, overall I was just not satisfied with the whole storage experience there! After talking with Caleb he agreed with me that they were a little out of line. Or he acted as he agreed with me. Moving forward Caleb told me that TX 21 doesn't do business that way, and that they give you a five day grace period before hitting you with late charges, locking you out etc. I also explained to Caleb that I am a contractor and would be storing my equipment there, and that if I were to move forward with renting a unit from him that I would need to be able to come and go! and that most mornings I would need to come pick up and drop off different equipment as needed depending on what type of project that we are working on, and that sometimes i may need to work there at the property, doing maintenance on equipment etc. I asked Caleb if that would be a problem? He told me No! He said "in fact, I have a couple of contractors who work outta here, come and go, the same type of thing". Perfect! So I rented a large unit! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Texas 21 Storage - 6024 East Hwy 21 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Texas 21 Storage - 6024 East Hwy 21 start from $75 and can go up to $329 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
