I have had the honor of meeting one of your associates today and would like to commend this gentleman for his great customer service skills. I honestly wish that we had more individuals like him in our workforce. He represents your company well and should be commended for a job well done. This gentleman’s name is Gary. UPDATE: The manager, Gary, called me and he resolved my issue. Gary is awesome, very nice guy. I am adding more stars to my review but they are only for Gary. Raised the rent again. You can count on them raising it every 6 months. Not just a couple dollars either. We're talking a minimum of $10-$15 per month. I have got to figure out somewhere to move our stuff. So tired of greed. I've been in that storage for at least 8 years and ever since Public Storage took over the rent has been raised at least 2x per year. ... Read more

Having recently come from a bad experience at another local storage I was a bit skeptical Upon arrival was greeted at the front desk by friendly staff who welcomed us right away. We tried some of The local mom and pop places first Although it was just minutes before closing time, they were very accommodating and understood my need for access ASAP to unload our truck and trailer Jon (the manager?) expedited our sign-up process and got us one of their larger units right away same night They walked me through the facility and gave me tours of each different unit. He was clear and concise explaining the locations and types of access This was really helpful considering Other local storage companies don't give you the tour until after you sign their lease (Which really matters when moving dollies, handcarts, etc.) walking us through instructions of how to get in and even tested out our code with us at the gate To make sure everything worked and my wife knew how to use the keypad. Although it was past closing time, Jon helped us with upgrading to a more secure rollup door style padlock, which was a little bit tricky to get used to it first He was nice enough to practice with us until we got the hang of it Able to safely unload Into our storage That same night!!! What a blessing. We had driven All the way from California and are constantly doing night watches to ensure nobody touched our truck or trailer. Overall, just a great, friendly experience and very welcoming They must've knew we were from California and needed a little extra attention I can't recommend them Great, first impression of Texas and look forward to living the good life ... Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 9040 TX-105 include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 9040 TX-105 start from $40 and can go up to $184 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
