Went to get a storage and Tamara knows exactly what size I needed. I told her what I needed to store and she was correct in the size. Everything I had fit perfectly. The unit was clean and there's a maintenance man Frank that's hands on with any issues you might have. Couldn't of asked for a better experience. ... Read more

U-Store-It in Amarillo is hands-down the best storage facility I’ve ever used! From start to finish, my experience with them was smooth, professional, and stress-free. First off, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure I got the right unit for my needs, answering all my questions and making the whole process a breeze. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in running a well-maintained facility. Speaking of the facility—it’s spotless and secure. The units are clean, well-lit, and easily accessible, and I felt confident knowing my belongings were safe with their security measures in place. The location is convenient, and the access hours are flexible enough to fit my schedule perfectly. The pricing is also super reasonable, and you get great value for your money. There are no hidden fees or surprises, just straightforward, fair pricing for top-notch service. Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at U-Store-It - 2328 Lakeview Drive include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 500 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
