I rented a storage unit & could not find it in the complex. Probably the worst layout I’ve ever seen. Shericka was very patient & walked me (literally I was out walking around) through the complex to find the unit I rented. She stayed on the phone with me until I found it. ... Read more

Too expensive, nice and clean, but found another small business elsewhere. Where I can walk in, greet the owner at the desk instead of a kiosk. So what? Call customer service to someone probably in a 3rd world country. Welcome to the greedy, overpriced, overthought out security, a lock gate that closes at 9. My new place is couple miles in a town 28 miles away, but at half the price of this place, get out ASAP. ... Read more

Do not use these people. They will lock you out even when you pay rent on time. Then say you have 24 hours to remove your property. They post the note on your locker. If you don't call the company and demand an override code, you will lose your property. They are thieves. Stay far away. I know hillside storage is one of the best and cleanest. ... Read more

Everything was good until my debit card was stolen. Then I had to call to make my payment which had late fees. That was fine. However they took $ 103.00 out of my account twice. One right after the other. When I called to tell them I was told she couldn't "see" it. I told her I saw it clearly on my banking app. She said she would have to send it to corporate. It has been a week and I have not heard from anyone. We will be moving our stuff to another storage and would not recommend them to anyone. I only picked one star because I had to pick one. I will be contacting the BBB ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at SpareBox Storage - 2927 Blackburn Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 360 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by SpareBox Storage - 2927 Blackburn Street start from $16 and can go up to $229 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
