Paid my rent dec 1st (due nov 15th but I'm always paying the first of the month) I went Sunday dec 1st and it was up to date but there was a lock. No issue, I didn't realize it was closed, they would probably get to it the next work day. Went 2 weeks and the dec 15th(due date) came about, paid on time (12pm on the 15th) and up to date. Went in and the red lock is still on there. So my unit has had a red lock for non-payment this entire time and NO ONE took it off after I am caught up? I've asked about moving my date several times and they say I have to pay a whole new month to do so. So I just pay the 1st and they all know I do. The door handle to get inside the indoor storage has never worked. I have to put the code and try to open it several times before it opens. No less than 2 to 3 times. Its always something that they're over charging. For 98 a month for a 5x10 it's really over priced especially since the door handle doesn't work (been like this for years) and they won't unlock your unit after you pay and get caught up. *EDIT DEC 17 2024* Came by to see if they took the red lock and it's still on here. They know of it because they replied to this review. Still haven't been able to get my christmas decorations out ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at SecurCare Self Storage - 5300 Coulter Street include the following amenities: Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by SecurCare Self Storage - 5300 Coulter Street start from $40 and can go up to $294 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
