I met with Brenda when I was in need of a storage unit. I was desperate and needed help fast. I explained my situation and she was right on the ball with helping and went above and beyond her scope required. Was very respectful and knowledgeable in handling my situation and. She is a true professional and is a big asset for the company. Totally awesome! She's a keeper! ... Read more

I'd rate this place a 0 star if I could. After suffering a major heart attack, losing my job, needing to sell my house, I put what was left of my shattered life into this storage facility until I could get my life back on track. I went to get something out of my unit and found rat droppings covered my things. This was after I had received an email notifying my storage rental rate was being increased by $60/mo, on top of some increase that they implemented by $20 a few months earlier. Don't trust this company. You pay the company to rent space in a maintained facility. Instead, you get rat droppings, and rent increases to ruin what's precious to you. Obviously, I'll be moving my not destroyed belongs out of Public Storage. Don't let this happen to you! Don't rent a storage space from this facility. Keep your belongings safe and your wallet protected. ... Read more

We chose this storage place due to its easy accessibility. You can easily get a semi-truck with a 53ft trailer in and out, no problem. The storage units are clean, the office is well kept, and the staff are great. But Brenda is the special sauce that keeps the place running. I had a small issue with my unit door, one quick call and no more than 5 minutes later she's out there helping out. Thank you for being such a professional. ... Read more

I have to say, I was not looking forward to cleaning out my mom’s storage which was over 15 years old. It was such an emotional experience and thankfully we had Brenda there to help us with everything. Her kindness alone made our day so much easier. She also helped us with everything we needed and more!!!!! Thank you again Brenda for all your help, I highly recommend this location!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Public Storage - 1020 North McCarran Blvd include the following amenities: Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by Public Storage - 1020 North McCarran Blvd start from $92 and can go up to $295 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
