My girlfriend and I had our stuff stored in in of their 10' x 10' units. The first thing that was awful about the unit was the vermin that were EVERYWHERE. The sheer number of mice in our unit were appalling. They chewed through our cardboard boxes. I set up six traps and came back a couple of days later to get something, and the traps were full. I re- baited the traps and left. As I was leaving, I heard a snap, and there was another mouse. I did this for several weeks, until I had killed a total of 37 mice. I informed the property management, and as I was telling her about the mice, she told me that she thought I was living in the unit because I was there so often. They harrassed me from that point on, and, after six months, I terminated my storage with them. Do not rent from them. ... Read more

On day one they seemed cool. Until they have your belongings to hold hostage, then bitter coldness makes the police seem more caring than a a loving grandma. I wasn't able to make it back to nv to clear out my unit 2 days after the first TWICE! And Kelly told me "you can put more things in the unit but "nothing gets removed from it, nothing at all it's past the first" The 2nd time he uncaringly noted that I needed another$100 to access my belongings is when I was just barely released from the cancer hospital after a week in oncology unit when I was emergently transported by ambulance from winnemucca to Reno. When released I was still detrimentally sick from being pumped with only the strongest antibiotics then faced with finding my own transportation back where my wife and I lived. Then Kelly lied to my wife while I was too ill to manage anything excluding my health and tried to sell our unit while she was on the phone to pay the whole remaining balance. Apparently he sold the unit 10 minutes before her call.the whole anxiety of the Kuenzli self storage was Hellish to say the least i ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at Kuenzli Self Storage - 799 Kuenzli Street include the following amenities: Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Credit Cards Accepted. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
