Read some helpful reviews of All American Storage at 1901 West 4th Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

If I could give zero stars I would. The person who works the front desk is a complete nightmare to deal with. I literally get anxiety when I have to interact with him. He has been rude and yelled at me nearly every time I've spoken with him. Recently the facility changed their policy and stopped running people's credit cards each month and moved to an online payment system. They did not notify me of this so when I went to access my storage they had put a red lock on it. When I called to find out what was going on the guy said they mailed out notices and that my rent was late. I informed him that I never received a notice in the mail and that it was a pretty big inconvenience to not be able to access my belongings and that it would have been better to email or call people before putting a lock on the unit. He responded with saying he would not accept a "personal attack" today in an elevated voice. I told him I was not attacking him personally and he just kept going with it. I asked that he have the owner call me so I could discuss the problem and he said he'd get the message to him but he probably wouldn't call. I've made requests in the past to have someone other than this guy call me but no one has ever responded. The customer service is terrible! ... Read more

It is q budget storage place... There is a reason its one of, if not the, cheapest in town. That reason is not the service, the guy that i signed up with was really nice. However, the facilities themselves are pretty dated and not loaded with the extra features you might find elsewhere (not 24 hours, no electrical in units, not climate controlled, does not have a wide balcony, lock not included, not insulated, not sound proof, and not truly cleaned between renters - just swept out...maybe...). But, again, the lowest, price i could find in town, so, I'm on board! ... Read more

The front office (Joshua) is a very condescending individual, you can't ask a question without being talked down to for your answer, and just a general tone of being annoyed to have to do his job. The unit itself is fine, the walkway for the 2nd story units is very narrow so makes taking anything large up impossible without help from the forklift. Forklift operator is very friendly and is nice reprieve from the patronizing front office. ... Read more

An average storage rental location. Open 7am to 7pm so hours are a little limited.... Space is clean and if you're on the second level, they typically have a forklift that will help you move in or out. I've never have had a problem with the units and the area is kept clean and secure. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage units available at All American Storage - 1901 West 4th Street include the following amenities: 24 hour access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and RV Storage. Depending on what you need to put away in storage, you can discover there are some things you absolutely need, so make sure you check with the facility manager that you'll find everything you need on site.

This particular storage facility provides self storage units of different sizes, ranging from 50 to 350 square feet. Space is not an issue! If you have more belongings to store, or simply bulkier items or even vehicles, you should go for larger storage units.

You already know how much stuff you need to put in self storage, so figuring out the unit size you need is the next step. Smaller units such as 5'x5' or 5'x10' spaces can usually be filled with the amount of items you would normally store in a closet: a few chairs and lamps, sports equipment, garden tools and some boxes.

Moving on to larger sizes, imagine the 10'x10' and 10'x15' units as similar to a bedroom or a living room – larger pieces of furniture, sturdier equipment and bicycles can fit here. Finally, a 10'x20' unit has enough space for the contents of a 3-bedroom house, while the larger 10'x30' space easily accommodates the contents of a loaded semi-truck.

Monthly prices for units offered by All American Storage - 1901 West 4th Street start from $70 and can go up to $325 for larger spaces.

Accessibility and quickness are key when it comes to storage, so drive-up storage units are generally regarded as very convenient. Pull your car right up to your storage space, load, unload, and you're good to go! However, if you're mostly storing temperature-sensitive items, you should rather consider indoor storage units.

Climate-controlled units maintain consistent temperatures and humidity levels all year round, making them perfect for all your sensitive items. Moisture and varying temperatures can damage a whole host of things, and that is why a lot of people choose to use climate-controlled units to store items like wooden furniture, electronics, artwork, documents and photographs, collectibles, antiques, etc. If the belongings you're storing are important to you, you should consider renting a climate-controlled unit.
