I have lived here for 7 years approaching 8. My rent has increased ridiculously over the last 7 years. Amenities management is aware of my concerns for this property (the new Hood) as its called. Built for Veterans (thats laughable). Lights out again. I refuse to walk around and install my light bulbs again. The filth of the breezeways, is deplorable. Once every 2 to 3 years. Landscapes everywhere except the front of the leasing office is neglected. irrigation lines pulled up or ripped up. Thousands of dollars of investment money out the window. These buildings that back up to the golf course,#4 and 6 have shifted towards salado creek as has the parking lot. Go up to the 3rd floor of building 3 you can see the slip. Remember in Nov 2017 when a contractor employee took a backhoe to the retaining wall?? That breach continues to show signs of not being stable. Nevertheless I love my Apt, and as your staff know I take care of it. Walk around this complex at all of the Section 8 units. Blinds ripped up, pets and they have vehicles. Why because they only pay $400 for my unit that I pay $1,067.00. Its without regard that I deal with the staff here because Corporate has tied their hands at what to fix what doesn't get fixed. Example Laundryroom #1 A/C has been out almost 2 years, have to open up the doors and windows. Gates broken yet again. Recommendations put speed bumps on both sides have fallen on deaf ears. Its estimated to cost $600 to $1,000.00 for each repair. People make recommendations yet no one seems to care about this property. Manager is cool, I love the fact that she does care as does her staff but Corporate needs to loosen up the purse strings to get things fixed. The stress that buget limitations shouldn't be placed upon your long term tenants. You have legitimate people who care that live here but are being forced out so you can get more section 8 people in this place. Very sad to see whats happened here. Thanks DCWatson
