It’s amazing to see how cities change over time. There are buildings being added to large cities on a regular basis, but how often do we stop and appreciate the change? Here at RentCafe, we decided to check out how Salt Lake City is doing in terms of real estate development. As it turns out, the city has seen unprecedented growth in recent years, especially in urban areas in and around Salt Lake. Empty fields and run-down sections of the city have been totally revamped and turned into sparkling new apartments, businesses, or hotels, bringing a fresh vibe to the communities in which they are situated.
Care to join us as we zoom in on these changes? We collected a series of before-and-after photos from Google Street View so you can see exactly how the city looked both before and after the construction boom that has been taking place in the central and downtown parts of Salt Lake since 2007.
