Atherton Claims Most Ultra-Luxury Homes for Rent and for Sale in Silicon Valley

Everybody knows Silicon Valley boasts some of the most expensive ZIP codes in the country, but where exactly in the Valley will you find the most ultra-luxury properties? To find out, we’ve looked at the volume of high-end homes, both for sale ($10+ million) and for rent ($10,000+ a month), then put together a list of top 10 Silicon Valley cities with the most ultra-luxury homes on the market right now.

Unsurprisingly, Atherton – America’s 2nd most expensive ZIP code – takes the top spot! With 16 homes for sale way over $10,000,000 and 10 homes for rent asking more than $10,000/month (the priciest one rents for $50,000/month!), no other hot spot in the Valley can compete with it.

The runners-up are the affluent communities of Los Altos Hills (Santa Clara County) and Woodside (San Mateo County) – counting merely 15 and 10 mind-boggling pricey properties, respectively.
