Summer inspired décor for a blossoming apartment home

Summer becomes extremely inspiring when it comes to interior decorating. Bring in the delectable scent of a garden in bloom to your living room by using seasonal accessories, floral prints and lots of greenery.  Small pieces of furniture and decorations can instantly transform any space into a soothing retreat.

Don’t be afraid to use and combine multiple fabrics, textures and colors; an eclectic mix of fabrics and patterns could instantly add personality and liveliness to your quarters. Floral prints, soft textures and striped fabrics go very well together; whether it’s some flowery drapes complemented by patterned decorative pillows, a multicolored throw rug or a striped sofa, all these pieces can really pull a room together and give it a unique sense of harmony and warmth. The entire setting will become fresh and comfortable.

Color is another key factor in obtaining a summer-inspired home design. To create a garden-fresh, cozy nook, focus on bringing in recreational themes or nature-inspired furnishings. You could easily add some nautical charm to your rental by decorating with stripes or introducing marine gems into your décor.

Seashells could replace your common vase and retain some marvelous floral arrangements; or you could even use tree stumps, individually or clustered together, as low tables in a living room for a truly original look.

The color palette should include shades of green, yellow and pink for a peaceful and pleasurable feel. These warm, yet vibrating colors invite to contemplation and relaxation, just what you need after a hard day’s work.
