Great Building, Ruined by Red Tail Mgmt

It’s honestly incredible how fast a decent apartment building can fall apart when it’s under incompetent management. That’s exactly what’s happening here. The structure, the location, even some of the unit layouts — all of it had potential. But Red Tail Residential (the management company) has done everything possible to make sure you don’t enjoy any of it. The problems aren’t subtle. You’ll deal with: • Slow or nonexistent maintenance • Unreturned calls and emails • Charges added to your account without explanation • Poor communication about building policies and services • And let’s not forget the mandatory charges for shared spaces like the gym, garage, and lounge — whether you use them or not. That’s not management, that’s exploitation. It’s actually sad watching what could be a quality living experience degrade into a mess just because the wrong people are in charge. This isn’t just about one bad apple on staff — it’s a systemic failure by whoever runs the show. Avoid any building managed by Red Tail Residential, and be cautious about any building tied to Wangard Partners. Nice buildings don’t matter when management has no clue how to take care of residents.

Review - Poor Staff Management and Communication

Poor Staff Management and Communication. You cannot ever get a hold of the property manager and packages are frequently lost with no support from property manager. Whenever there is an issue, I know it's going to take hours to contact the property manager to get someone to pay attention. It's one of the reasons I am not renewing my lease. property management was good in 2022 and early 2023 but then it's been bad ever since late 2023. Also, washer and dryer units are old and moldy and cheap maintenance is done on the elevator that barely works and cabinet fixtures. Also, locks are cheaply managed, easy to get locked out and property doesn't cover the fees when there bad locks are to blame.
