Facing Ongoing Water Heating Issues

As a tenant, I really love living here, but it’s been hard dealing with the constant issue of the water not staying hot for long—or sometimes not hot at all. It’s been really tough for my son and me. I’ve reached out to the office multiple times, but every time I get the same runaround: I’m told to contact the utility company about my high bill and to submit a work order for the water problem. I did what they asked, and when the work order was looked at, I was simply told that I have a small water heater, and there’s nothing more they can do. It’s just really frustrating and disappointing.

nice

I've lived here more than 3 years and it is a well-maintained property. my apt is fairly large compared to other 1 bd. apts in the area. it is quiet and they have a workout room and pool. My only complaint is parking. there aren't enough spots and they tow cars regularly.

Over promise, overpriced, under deliver

I've lived here for almost 1 year now. Promises during my initial tour were, two common areas with gas grills, the pool, an off-leash dog area were all half delivered or not delivered at all. One common area with tables and a gas grill was supposedly "being renovated" when I toured. The area has since become a storage area with no renovations taking place. The other common area with a grill is adjacent the pool and only available 2.5 to 3 months out of the year, when the pool is operational. The pool is not well kept when in use. It was continuously cloudy and closed for maintenance. The package delivery area was permanently closed after just a couple of months living here. The gates to the off-leash dog area have been broken since I moved in. One partially worked but is now completely off the hinges and leaning against the fence. The area is not well kept, the trash receptacle at one point recently was not emptied for over 2 months. Parking has been an unorganized nightmare. The water, sewer, and trash bill has continuously increased on a monthly basis. I was told the average bill for one person was about $100 when I toured. The last bill was almost $300. Now I am being asked to renew my lease at an increased rate along with an increase on parking. This seems ridiculous since there are less amenities offered now than when I moved in.
