Family Friendly, great location

This is a great place to live. Great value. Easy to find parking. Prompt maintenance services. Good amount of living space for the price and location. Safe. We walk to the grocery store; it's in the plaza next to us. Just across the street from a school and there are many families/children in the complex. Water/Sewage/Trash is NOT included in rent amount, FYI. But not a deal-breaker. (This was strange for us as we moved from another state where these fees were standard in rent agreement.)

Cleanliness

I enjoy living here. The location is great, the apartments are big and it is a nice family friendly community. However, the dumpster near our place is always filled with what feels like the whole complexes trash. People throw away couches, doors, bed frames in what seems to always be our nearest trash container and that’s just not pleasant to look at. We also have a lot of dogs in our area (we have dogs as well) and it’s frustrating watching other dog owners be irresponsible and not pick up after their dog or most recently a neighbor of mine has decided his dog doesn’t need a leash. The staff and maintenance crew are great, they are kind and response but sometimes rules need to be enforced. These residents are spoiled and need to learn to clean up after themselves and follow rules.

Feedback

We have lived here for 8 years and it is a great location. I have appreciated the updates made to the complex over the past few years. On the downside, the rent is high and getting a $200 increase is hard to manage. It is also hard to justify the price being in an unrenovated unit with mismatched appliances and beat up cabinets and ceilings. Some outlets don't work, the windows are terribly thin, bathrooms are in bad shape and there is very little storage. The high termination fee and cost to move prevent us from leaving however. I would recommend this location but only the newly renovated units.

Office staff are not friendly

I've lived here almost 2 years and since day 1, the office staff have not been friendly or considerate. They will frequently state policies but not uphold them around the complex with residents equally.
