Grace

I’ve lived here for 8.5 years, and its been a great apartment/location. Parking can be frustrating at times, as people park here to go downtown. But otherwise its been a great spot. Maintenance team is always quick and helpful

Affordable Option with Notable Drawbacks

Positive Aspects: Affordable pricing, convenient location with short travel times, prompt servicing for approved maintenance requests Negative Aspects: Inadequate upkeep, excessive noise, constant traffic and construction from nearby highways, inconsistent attention to maintenance concerns

Simple Apartment

I lived there for nearly two years. It was a nice apartment if you are the kind of person who can make the most out of a small space. Maintenance and communications with the landlord were always pretty good and I did not mind not having any real amenities. My biggest complaint would be the noise level. The apartment is located directly in the flight path of BTV and air traffic is loud and constant. The train tracks run adjacent to the parking lot with trains traveling through at all hours of the day and night. Finally, the building is near the Winooski traffic circle, but far enough away to give cars just enough time to really accelerate. Cars with loud exhausts would constantly be speeding away from the traffic circle.

NEW WINDOWS

New windows are desperately needed. They do not provide any insulation whatsoever for both heat and sound. My electricity bill more than doubles in the winter because the baseboard is below the insanely drafty windows. Parking needs to be assigned, businesses can use the far lot.

East Allen st winooski block

The apartment needs work as it was never upgraded after previous renter. It’s a cozy spot. Could use better laundry with debit card options. And more parking
