Ok, so David is great about addressing issues. It's beautifully updated and neutral for any decor. A beautiful place lifts your spirits. The landscaping is also kept very well. There are not any real amenities that I know of, but it's not an apartment or neighborhood community. It's great to have the 2 car garage, but it is very tight and if you have 2 cars, you need to keep the bare minimum stored in the garage to get 2 cars in it. We pull one car forward and back-in the other car in order to get out of the driver side doors only. The passenger has to get out before going into the garage, because the wall is too close to open those doors. Though we LOVE the location with an easy ability to walk downtown and also to beautiful Victorian neighborhoods, it is in a very transitional area with less than desirable housing on either side of the building and behind it. There is a church on the corner where the homeless are fed and allowed to sleep in its lawn, also a storage unit across the street where a Bible Study is hosted for the Homeless. These things make me feel better about the homeless crowd in the area, but FYI, there are homeless nearby. The walk to get to downtown and lovely neighborhoods is 2-3 blocks of concreted transitional and commercial areas. When you get past that the walks are awesome and you get used to it quickly. I like the variety of paths to walk much better than the boring suburban neighborhood we moved here from and once I got used to it, I feel very safe. I have even walked at night a few times and had not trouble. The neighbors on our street are all renting and ALL GREAT PEOPLE. We have enjoyed meeting everyone. Keep in mind that my perspective on this is coming from a background of surburban living in a big, beautiful home, and this is very different for us. Best of luck on making your decision and know that all in all, this is a great and interesting place to live. The kitchen is tiny but totally manageable

I have had a few minor things like burnt out light bulbs and a leaky ceiling , but the leak was repaired eventually although the ceiling still needs a cosmetic makeover. The management is very nice and our neighbors are really nice, we have enjoyed living here so far :)
