The leasing office by far really bad at meet and greets

When I viewed this property to rent a home from the process was stressful from the start. Things were from beginning “(hidden)” information i later found out would costs me a arm, leg and liver. No joke. Landscaping is crappy and you are forst to pay for them or just do your allow them to do the bare minimum and if you choose to do your yard, you still have to pay the $75 fee every month my yard for March-April looks so bad. Maintenance is the person who tells you any information from the leasing office as they have him go around laying in messages for them the property manager Kaylee she’s a sneaky one the lady who I originally started with with my process of moving in with Ilene and she’s no longer here she left last month. Your water bill will literally make you passput from the absurd and insane amount they attempt to rip you off for (twice my bill was in the $500 & $400 rang and i live alone) i had to nonstop stay on them after i went crazy in emails complaining about this on going billing over charging. To find out after it was resolved my bikl was actually ($200 under. Or at) they claim the water and sewer here is higher between $80 & $100 more then Austin. Which im usef to. Ive stull never met the leasing office workers only ever the maintenance guy Rob. Yes he does a good job but he is the only worker and he cover this & 2 other propertys alone. I dont think the added $25 amount for the smart home futures are really worth it as I have more security cameras and set up then they offer. There’s no home alarm. There is no private entry into the property where it’s gated or anything from the main road. It’s a regular newly built housing development so you get the same things other homes here get. Since ive moved in I've heard enough gunshots to make up for never hearing them in apts ive lived at in austin so that is saying something fyi. Fedex is lazy delivering here they totally choose to not follow instructions. this is my experience so far & its not all good

overall good

as with most neighborhoods, the only aspect of living here that is a constant thorn in our side comes from the consideration (or lack thereof) of the neighbors within. Prior to living here, my family had been bound to apartments. We love having a yard, we love having a garage. What we dont love are dogs that bark all throughout the day and night, to the point that our dogs cant use the bathroom in the yard we worked so to be able to afford. With that being said, our overall time here has been great, and we look forward to continuing our lease. Ilene has been an amazing point of contact for getting all of our needs taken care of, and we are very grateful to have her at our side when something comes up.

Peaceful living, for the most part

We love this place, except for the many spiders that find their way inside and offleashed dogs that have charged at us twice now. Location is great, on the outskirts of a busy city, but close enough with a short commute anywhere in town. Rent isn't bad for a 3BR house, however I expect prices to go up once tesla finishes building close by.
