The Abbey was built when I was 3, and I'm 55, now, so there are some things that are not always going to work well; however, the property is loved. Miss Jamie, in the front office, is amazing, responsive, and very personable; I have never had a problem getting something taken care of in my apartment, or on the property. Mister Roland is the most amazing, patient, organized, and truly handy maintenance men I have ever known. My Uncle Bill was a maintenance man in an apartment complex in Colorado about this size as the Abbey when I was younger, and Mister Roland has him beat hands-down. Mister Daniel is a fantastic young man, works hard, and both he and Mister Roland are personable, highly professional, knowledgeable, and they work hard to get as much done as possible. The residents here are generally quiet and respectful of one-another, though as with all populated areas, attitudes between residents will get out of control sometimes; that's just Human nature in a fallen world. Otherwise, I've not shared a cross word with anyone, and I'm grateful to know quite a few of these folks. I am an old Army guy, and I'm a Christian, so I feel safe, here, not worried about much of anything. There is a Pentecostal Church across the street and a Baptist Church kitty-corner to us. There are shops and fast-food places of all kinds within five to ten minutes travel time and traffic on Eden is not bad. Judson Road is right at the corner and a main artery of Longview, and both 4th Street and 259 are good traffic areas, as well. Sams Club and Walmart are on 4th and a ten minute trip. My Church, Grace Creek, is on Hawkins, just down the road on Judson, take a left and drive a bit, and it's fantastic. There are also great trails in the area and you walk a lot of places within an hour, if you have an animal you walk. There is no place that will be perfect on this Earth, but this one ain't half bad; give it a once-over, at least.

OK, I have been living here for right at two years. The staff is really polite and really caring. I love it. The buildings are older, which I don’t care too much far but the price is right so there you go.
