So far so good, my only complaint would be the payment process.
Lots of Room for Improvements
Life at Jackson Square has been around for too long for the apartment complex to still be struggling as much as is it. I've lived here once before and enjoyed my time here. I moved back here because the rent is affordable, and it is closer to my workplace but the only option available at the time was the North side of the community. The North side is definitely not a priority for management, at all. When I applied to live here, the leasing agent told me that they move all the "loud" people to the North side to keep them in the back. I haven't had an issue with any of my neighbors, but it is a safety issue back there due to lots of violence and altercations. The leasing agent assured me there was security, I been here for a year and have yet to see a security guard present. The AC constantly goes down and the water pressure is terribly low. Life at Jackson Square is not a bad place to live, especially for newly independent and young people or someone trying to make ends meet. The renovations are very nice, but that doesn't take away from the obvious issues. Management definitely needs to step up and prioritize certain things to improve the community. The same energy they put into wanting their rent ON TIME each month is the same energy they should put into hearing out the concerns of their residents and doing something about it.
