Great Apartment. Love the floor plan. Beautiful pool and pool area. Staff is fantastic. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally! The dog park area has just been totally redone. Very nice. Barbecue grills on the 8th floor overlooking the city, with a nice fire pit. The Eclipse was beautiful from the roof. The Gables McKinney staff had a Eclipse viewing party. Very nice. The gym is very complete. The tenet lounge is beautiful with a very nice kitchen, with TVs everywhere. Great full size pool table. A comfortable theater on the Mezzanine floor. Great storage areas for rent within the building at reasonable rates. Great, Great perk. Whole foods is the first floor and can be accesesed without going outside during bad weather. Bring the food right up to your apartment in one the carts. State Thomas neighborhood is safe for walking your dog day or night. The walking score for restaurants and shopping is amazing. You can just walk out the door and take the Dallas trolley downtown. THE GABLES MCKINNEY, WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE TO LIVE!!!!!! Best of all

Gables McKinney was a wonderful building to live in and the staff were incredibly supportive to tenants. A special thank you goes to Sam G who made living at Gables as easy as one could've asked. I spent almost 5 years at Gables and it was an easy 5 years without any major issues. For the smallest of matters, the responsiveness of the staff and team was first class and would go above and beyond to support the tenant. Maintenance is fast to resolve any maintenance requests one might have. They had also taken great care during covid and made sure of high cleanliness levels, which is truly appreciated. This building adn staff do cares about the residents / tenants. Amenities are quite useful which included a below grade parking garage allowing for safe and secure parking of tenant vehicles. Note not the biggest gym but enough equipment and space across the 2 levels to satisfy most exercise aficionados. The 1BR unit i lived in was wonderful (and zen); Plenty of space to have more than a full set of furniture, and the living area gets really nice natural light from the large floor to ceiling windows that wrapped around the main living area. Great use of space with a bedroom large enough to accommodate a king sized bed, and any extra space has been given to a large, welcoming bathroom (dual sinks) as well and a large walk-in closet with built in shelves. In all, a great building for the short-term or long-term renter

over 1 year. Overall a well kept and nice place. You can use colored pencils to hide the chip marks on the baseboards in the hallways by the way :) and it doesn't cost much.

Apartments are great- great interior, good size, awesome views. Super friendly and attentive staff. Amenities are great- pool, gym, media room, lounge, conference room. The best part about the building is its location- next door to Whole Foods, tons of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Walking distance to several parks- Klyde Warren Park, Griggs and Katy Trail. Love this place!
