Dog Park Apartment
I lived here for one year and experienced a multitude of problems. Ultimately why i moved. They turned my "people wont pick up their dogs poo" problem to making my outside living room a dog park. They have numerous extra charges not included in your rent but don't give you the option to not have them as if they are an option. My internet was turned off many times because the incompetence of the internet provider (Optimum) which is contracted with the apartment, basically forced to use them since its also a complete dead zone inside. Overall would recommend if you just need a place to live that is cheap and smells like dog doodoo.
Complex has not been maintained
I've lived in my apartment for a little more than a year. When I moved in, the sliding glass door did not close and lock properly nor was the security pin operating, so there were issues right off the bat. Shortly into my stay, I found that a large amount of water was condensing on the INSIDE of all the large windows, causing water to pool on the windowsills and mold to form around the edges of the windows. I asked for the complex to fix the issue, and they did a band-aid fix. When I complained a second time, I was told the windows were thin and, thus, the condensation on water on the inside was "normal." Of course, the mold addendum included with my lease said "the tenant" is the main person to prevent mold. Not necessarily. The buildings are getting old, and the windows need to be replaced if water is getting INSIDE the apartment. Other issues include a poor quality of residents in a complex that is way too large to be managed well. There was an incident with the police right outside my apartment with another tenant's friend. Also, people in my building never use their trash receptacles, and I was appalled how many people leave trash outside the compactor when the sign gives clear directions on how to use it. I realize you can't discriminate with renting to people, so that's not the complex's fault, but you could enforce some of the important rules more adequately. (Put up a camera at the compactor so you can catch who is leaving the trash outside of it and fine them.) Overall, the deterioration of the complex due to age is not worth the cost, so I would not recommend it to others. One last note: the addition of the speed bumps at the front was, in my opinion, a questionable choice. You have to slow down to a crawl to go over the first one, and then right when you get over it, there's another one just a few feet away, Once people get through the front two, they still speed around the rest of the property!
Thoughtful Apartment
Cute little one bedroom apartment. Even though the square footage is small, the apartment is pretty well laid out and had a thoughtful use of space. The apartment is relatively modern. It has a built in bookcase and a large storage closet on the patio. It would have been nice to have a little more living room and a little less patio but it's nice.
Nice Place
Moved in a week ago. Property is nice and quiet. Location is a bit far from main town area, but is workable.
A Cozy Place To Live
I've lived here for about a little over half of a year and have been enjoying every second of it. It's quite and off to the side but still provides a cozy atmosphere. My only complain would be that the parking can be a little difficult sometimes, especially if you don't pay for covered parking, which may result in you having to walk for 2 to 5 minuets to get to your apartment. Other than that though everything is great. Staff is friendly and nice, the amenities are enjoyable and fun, and the units themselves are very nice and spacious.
