Been here a while
Been here for over 2 years now and moved in when they first opened. Firstly, I've lived in multiple different apartments/condos/high rises and as with any community living, there are always caveats you must deal with. The Monroe is no different. There is occasional noise, occasional issues with parking, etc etc. Now guest parking is not great, they really didn't think about this when they designed the building and spaces. They added 10 spaces but it's just not enough. Amenities could be better, in terms of getting the TV's service or at least OTA channels for free. The gym could use a cable machine for more versatility but that's just a personal preference. Overall the units are great, and maintenance is absolutely the best part of living here. Allen does a great job and he's super friendly and attentive to detail. He makes living here fantastic
new but unkept
I was excited to move into this apt bc it was still under construction so that meant I was going to enjoy all the new amenities and spot. However from the beginning the complex was not kept up. The hallways and stairwells don't get cleaned but maybe once or twice a year. The asphalt on the parking is jacked up. The gardening was done half fast. Your living quarters are nice though.
A great place to live
I've lived here for a little over a year and plan to renew my lease. It's a brand new property so it hasn't been without its challenges but things have steadily improved. The pros: beautiful building and units, nice amenities, friendly staff, great maintenance team, quiet, and safe. Cons: There is not enough parking for visitors, there isn't a lot of enforcement of the valet trash rules, and the gym is small. I think by making it more visitor friendly and being a little bit more strict with residents about keeping the hallways clean, it's on track to be phenomenal!
