Generally positive, but needs to be better late at night

I enjoy living here -- it offers good financial value, I like my apartment itself, I make use of the amenities. The staff is generally responsive. But my one complaint is that there needs to be a way to address late-night disturbances or emergencies. At the moment, this simply doesn't exist. The apartment offers this supposed "Ranger Protection" service, but it is completely useless. These are rent-a-cop, fake security guards, and they are never here. When you call the listed number at night, you are forced to leave a voicemail -- because the phone is never answered -- and no one ever calls you back to follow up. What if a water pipe burst in the middle of the night? What if my upstairs neighbor's bathroom floods and leaves a hole in my ceiling? What if I am locked out, or my central air isn't working on a 95 degree night? There is currently no way to address these types matters with anyone actually affiliated with the apartment, and that should not be the case. Fortunately, none of these things have happened to me. But I have tried to call Ranger multiple times to file noise complaints, and they are completely useless -- they don't pick up the phone, and never follow up on my email. Even if something is not an emergency, there should be a way for residents to get in contact with someone from the apartment who can do something about an urgent problem. If my neighbors are blasting wall-shaking music until 3am on a week night; if a huge crowd of people occupies the front pool throughout an entire Sunday and is disturbing and loud -- these types of things should be addressable and containable. It shouldn't matter that it is off hours when the leasing office is closed. Residents deserve the ability to contact someone to address problems that detract from the experience of living here at Preserve Rolling Oaks.

I had a miscomunnication with the leasing agent, so I got a living room with the carpet.. but everything else is good so far.
