Nice apartment complex at the hear of central Austin

I have been a resident of the Gables at Central Park and I'm very happy living here. Location is a plus, and security is ok., the only downside is that there are no common areas open during the weekend afternoon and nights, since such space is located next to the admin offices and they use it more like their sales showroom, instead for us to have a nice space with TV screen and games. Overall I recommend this apartment complex if you're looking for a quiet, safe, well located apartment with great maintenance and polite staff.

Good Review

This is my and my roommates second year living here and we love it! The maintenance staff and leasing office employees are so friendly and helpful. We were having a lot of AC unit problems and both staffs were there for us, especially Ken, Grady, and Matt. The location is perfect for us because we are students at UT and the bus stops are very accessible from here. There are also a lot of good places to shop and eat within walking distance. It is a quiet apartment complex, which we truly love. The only complaints we have are our neighbors that smoke and parking. I really do appreciate the free parking and guest parking because that is not common with student living, however, I do wish I had a covered spot in the garage in case there is a bad storm and I need to cover my car. Other than that, we absolutely love living here!! We recommend Gables Central Park to all of our friends.

Review

It's not that the apartment compound itself is noisy, but we can hear everything that is going on outside sometimes--including the car doors closing and the car starting. We can also hear our neighbors talking from the restroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location!
