Best location

I have lived at the Bell for 3 years, and with new staffing changes, it has greatly improved from when I moved in. The grounds are cleaner, staff more attentive, and they have added security. Relative to other apartments, its a decent value.

This is my first year in Austin and I am very pleased with my selection of Bell South Lamar. The facility is super accessible by car & bike, there's a ton nearby to do, and the people are friendly. The apartment meets my budget constraints, and foresee myself staying next year as well. Thank you.

Needs regular cleaning

I love the apartment location, value, and almost everything about the complex other than the lack of cleaning/upkeep in the breezeways. The floors aren't ever cleaned and unfortunately there are plenty of dog owners who allow their pets to urinate and dont bother cleaning it. That on top of others just leaving trash in the hallway is ridiculous. I thought there was a time when maintenance would come in and clean the floors on a pretty regular basis but since COVID hit that seems to have ceased.

Needs cleaning

I’ve lived in the apts for 4 years and in the past year the hallway/breezeway maintenance has fallen by the wayside. It doesn’t seem like there’s any attention paid to the hallways at all which is upsetting because dog owners let their dogs urinate in the hall and don’t bother to clean up after them. Again, a simple cleaning every 2 weeks should resolve the issue.
