Needs regular cleaning

I love the apartment location, value, and almost everything about the complex other than the lack of cleaning/upkeep in the breezeways. The floors aren't ever cleaned and unfortunately there are plenty of dog owners who allow their pets to urinate and dont bother cleaning it. That on top of others just leaving trash in the hallway is ridiculous. I thought there was a time when maintenance would come in and clean the floors on a pretty regular basis but since COVID hit that seems to have ceased.

Lots of noise and vibration transfer

The first night in my apartment was an unpleasant surprise. I discovered the building has very thin construction, so noise and even vibration travels quite a distance. When people close doors in the building, not only can you hear it very clearly, often the building actually shakes. (Imagine trying to sleep through someone bumping your bed at night.) When my neighbor above walks around, the ceiling crackles. When my neighbor next door speaks, it feels like I'm eavesdropping because I can hear every word he says. This is marketed as a luxury apartment, but it's built like a tenement. You should avoid this place unless you are able to fall asleep on a New York subway train. P.S. In case you're wondering what happened in my case: I emailed the management at 2:30am the night I moved in, asking to be transferred or allowed to escape the lease. They said I can't escape without paying $2700, but they will let me transfer... in 6 months. In other words, they will not deviate from the lease. So the message is: "buyer beware." Signing a lease here is taking a risk.

Great location, gym and pool are minimal

Great location, the staff changes a lot and maintenance is ok if you keep bugging them. Overall, a good value (given the excellent location ) for the money. We are In our 4th year living here.

We are a pet friendly apartment community! We are pleased to accept cats and dogs. The following non-traditional pets ARE allowed: turtles, non-poisonous frogs, domestic hamsters, hermit crabs, gerbils, small domesticated birds, and domestic fish. Fees for these non-traditional acceptable pets may vary if applicable. Unless used as an assistance animal, restricted dog breeds are NOT allowed. Restricted breeds include the following: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Husky, Wolf Hybrid, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, and St. Bernard and all "mixes" of the above breeds. Snakes, spiders, ferrets and iguanas are NOT allowed due to liability reasons. ** All pet fees, pet deposits, pet rent, weight limits, and the maximum number of pets allowed per apartment are subject to change at any time without notice and may be subject to certain restrictions.
