Super place to live with great perks and amenities! Creatively designed events take place almost weekly. Every day we have great expectations for uniting with fellow residents who become our friends and confidants. While the external building is located in a very secluded area, also in an upscale neighborhood, wel relish the fact that we are not easily found and a bit obscurred from heavy traffic. It's really great living here and The Management Team and Sparrow Management Comapany are the best there is to offer in Austin, Texas. Eeeehaw! come on down and experience it all for yourselves. I have been at Arborview for over two years, and really love it here. There are great amenities and planned events and activities that add to the beautiful setting in the Greystone area location, near Circle C. The people that live here are friendly, active, social and very interesting folks that do a lot together, aside from what is already on the calendar. The staff is responsive to needs and requests and professional. It's very quiet, has lovely landscaping, lots of space inside and out for yoga, swimming, craft classes, social events with music and food, tons of every kind of game you would wish from Bridge, to Texas Hold-um, to Chess, Bunco, Rumicubes, Hearts, Crowns, and more, at regular or spur of the moment times. Some garden, some bike, some walkk the trails nearby, some read.there are exercize classes several times a week with very good instructors. I particularly engage in the arts and crafts, resident led literary group, ocaasionaly movie in the theatre, potlucks or happy hour times. Some of us gather every evening, just to chat. I've made lots of friends here, and they really care, and I'm happy with how many opportunities there are to socialize. Our apartment is comfortable, and small maintenance needs are taken care of quickly by the most courteous maintenance crew. My husband likes how clean it is and how nice it smells, and that the apartment is quite soundproof. It is a place we both feel safe, and happy to be at. If you are looking for a beautiful place to retire, I would totally recommend Arborview.

Everything has both improved and somethings need improvement. However, the present staff are exceptional people and yet we've lost exeptional staff without our understanding. The repairs were long coming and yet have been sucessfully resoved at this point of time. The maintenance crew have always been exceptional with Kelvin being extremely nice and very accomodating. We are hoping for the newest employee working with him is as good. Sheilah is the most efficient office staff that has been here since I have lived here. Many of us, including myself, are impressed with her entire personhood especially how easy and pleasant it is interface with her. I hope she is rewarded for her work. Arborview is a very beautiful, peaceful place to live. The amenities are very nice, and there are lots of planned activities.The people who live her are engaging, interesting, top-notch folks who care about each other. We do a lot of things together, aside from the things on the calendar the staff arranges. We have outings to nearby towns, go out to eat together, travel outside the state, or join together for various artistic or literary events, and occasionally get together for potlucks or grilling by the pool. There are ample opportunties to add to your health, by the nearby walking trails, or the Aqua fit classes, yoga, low impact exercize, and more -even belly dancing occasionally! We have great instructors for most of the fitness classes here. A pet friendly place, we know each other by our dogs, or cats! Maintenance crew is excellent here, and the staff available during regular business hours to assist with various things, including Saturdays. Once a month there is a chat and chew with the manager to communicate about goings-ons. The building is very clean and luxurious. Our library is lovely, with books of all kinds, including some from from many who live here and have written about their lives or adventures. Holidays are always earmarked with special get togethers, and Mardi Gras, Mother's Day, Spring Fling-were loads of fun and frequently accompanied by great music, ranging from old rock, to Jazz, to 80's style karaoke! We have a well equipped exercise room , and an arts and crafts room, coffee bar, sports bar for happy hour activities, a movie theatre , and a very welcoming atmosphere. I find it is a wonderful place to make new friends and enjoy old friends. I like it here. Maybe you will, too!

Being a resident for almost a year has given me numerous experiences ... love the scenery and location, enjoy the peaceful, quiet environment, and the sunrise from my balcony in the morning is amazing!
