Dont trust the front office
Incompetence or Thievery? Idk but don’t live here if you have a choice The front office is a mess. If you expect any assistance or accountability for something that’s incorrect, good luck. Upon moving out, they didn’t give us notice of the deadline to notify and tried to tell us we would owe them an extra month of rent. Thankfully we showed them THEIR lease agreement and got it resolved. They then charged me for a full month of rent instead of the agreed upon half month for our last bill, and then told me it was my fault for having autopay on. They agreed to repay me after cleaning and move out expenses were deducted. How convenient that all of the cleaning expenses they “found” offset EXACTLY how much money they owed me. They overcharged me almost $200 in cleaning fees for issues that were previously reported to the front office or considered “normal wear and tear”, which they cannot legally charge a tenant for. Upon disputing this, I spent the next 3 months fighting for my refund and often having to email the property manager 2-3 times to even get a response. If you do choose to live here, be cautious of the front office finding ways to cheat you out of your money. Read your lease agreement in detail and be prepared to defend yourself with it. I’ll end with this, the people who live at Cobblestone are wonderful and the maintenance crew is magnificent. Very friendly and always quick to reply to requests. Unfortunately, their services are required quite often due to the state of some of the buildings.
