My experience living at Parlside East has been average. Given weve had rat issues and plumbing problems, i think the management needs to look into these things with more seriousness. Not being able to use the restroom seamlessly has been a huge inconvenience since it affected our miid and day’s activities entirely. Additinally, i think strict rules about cleaniliness have to be set up and people who fail to abide must be penalized. Given the building is predominantly student occupied, there are some roommates that litter around the house, refuse to clean up after themselves or take out the trash. Such people affect our living experience drastically and shouldnt be allowed to reside here. Additionally, visitors/strangers entering the building must ve kept in check. Unidentified guests must be stopped and permission of the flatmates must be taken befire bringing strangers home. There has been unwanted visits of certain guests to the house that has been causing noise and inconvenience.

Should have some amenities at least. Location is the only benefit. Maintenance staff can also be better.

Great building to live in. One of the most well-known waterfront communities in Newport You get big loft-style layouts, high ceilings, and direct NYC skyline views. It feels more like condo living than typical rentals, with strong amenities and a very established community.
