Great location, but disappointing mid.

My first two years at the complex was really good. My only complaints and that time was that the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbor pretty easy and a lot of stuff was dated but livable and great location. This year the responsiveness from staff and maintenance has been really bad (like 6 month water leak from sink bad) so even with it being a good value. I don’t plan on staying another year due to the bad impression from those things.

The reason we decided to pay more in rent and moved here was for the pools, which have been closed for most of the summer. The maintenance requests take a long time to complete, and we are given little to no forewarning when the crew shows up. I would like to at least receive an email the day prior with an approximate timeframe. The crew itself seems to be understaffed. There has been black mold in two of the apartments we have moved into. The management seems to be disorganized and understaffed. The front desk workers, thankfully, are kind and understanding. Overall, I would like to see improvements in the management of the complex.

Location

The location of this property is very convenient to the interstate and to the university. It is relatively quiet, Maintenance is slow, but otherwise it is a decent place to live.
