Why Renters Love It Here

Residents appreciate the friendly and welcoming community at University Hill, with a particularly positive view of the helpful and courteous staff. Best place to stay in Durham

I moved to Durham from Austin, so wanted to get an apartment in a happening place as the city quite slow as compared to Austin. I toured around 10 properties before UHill and decided to move in UHill right after I took the tour of the property. I love the layout of my apartment here and the amenities that come along. They have a decent in-house gym, but if you want a full-fledged gym, there is an O2 fitness centre right outside UHill. The work spaces are amazing too. The place is highly secured and nobody can enter the building without a fob. You can track who is entering from the main gate of the building from your phone and can open the gate from your phone itself. UHill has some really nice restaurants, coffee shops and breweries just few steps away. Target, Sam's Club and Ross are at a walking distance too. Duke University is a few miles away. Overall, I loved the neighborhood. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cozy place with ample amenities and a nice, secure neighborhood.

Great place to live

Really love the amenities and the effort management puts in for events. It's a very safe and beautiful place to live. The only thing I would change is I wish the communal coffee machine would be maintained more regularly. 3/7 days a week I come down in the morning for coffee and something is wrong - needs to be cleaned, no filter paper, out of coffee beans, etc. Which isn't the best feeling when you're craving coffee :) Overall though really a wonderful place to live.
