Beautiful Apartments
Besutiful apartments. Great facilities, especially heated pool! Nice quiet neighbors, and the maintenance crew is the best. Biggest problem is the office staff regularly quits and isnt always responsive when they are even un the office.
Nice Area, Loud Apartment
The complex has great amenities and is in a beautiful location. The construction quality is atrocious - I can't believe the developers let the contractors get away with such subpar work. There is so much noise here - upstairs neighbors can be heard walking, closing cabinets, etc. The road noise from LL Bean trucks is very noticeable, as well as the Maine DOT yard (think, "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP") from heavy equipment at 4AM. Garages are too small for anything other than a compact sedan. Also nothing in the community for kids - but there is a dog park!
Crosstree Residences
Have lived here almost a year. Love the mature forested area and the wildlife in the area. Very quiet area. Apartments are well designed. Stackable W/D in the unit is a plus!
A nice place to live
Crosstree is a nice community to live in. The neighbors are nice, the location is fantastic and the apartments are pretty nice as well. This is a new construction and as the first tenant in the apartment, there was and remains a lot of poorly done/finished construction tasks that never got finished. That's the construction company fault mainly, but I would have expected the apartment management to jump on it quickly before signing off on job completion rather than handling it via warranty repairs submitted by the residents. Parking is the biggest issue as far as I see it here. If it snows at all you have to move your vehicle each day to allow the plows access to every parking space or you get towed. The garages available are great if you have a prius but impossible if you own a full size truck/vehicle due to width. I can't get my Toyota truck into one even with mirrors folded. Not having a garage, being forced to move your vehicle on every snow event is difficult if you travel in winter for work because you'll get towed.
