Love living at the Reserve!

My fiance, son, and I have lived here for almost a year and will be renewing our lrase for another year. The location is great (right next to the exit for 270 and 15), the neighborhood is nice, convenient location, and friendly meighbors. Would hifhly recommend. Also, we love oir apartment.

Responsive staff and good location

My partner and I have lived at the reserve for about a year. We just renewed a lease here. The location is great for our commutes. I primarily work from home but it offers great access to the DC metro area when I need to travel around for work. Upstairs neighbor can be kinda noisy (wood vinyl floors) but that is what I'd expect in an apartment complex. There is a pool and gym on location; however, the pool is only open during the summer months and the gym has fairly limited equipment. That being said, we're located about 7 minutes away from a Gold's Gym. Additionally, we have about 3 grocery store options within a 10 minute radius. Overall, we're pretty content here. The apartment does feel fairly small for what we pay; however, it seems to be in line with the trend across the US of rising costs of living. That being said, our rent did raise by about $70 per month after we renewed our lease. We did notice that our apartment model was being advertised on the website at rates lower than current rent. So it felt strange for us that as current tenants, we would have to pay more than new tenants. We were not given a satisfactory explication- something about rent prices decided by algorithms at the time lease offer/renewal. As renewing tenants, this explanation did not make us feel valued. Staff are very responsive to maintenance request, usually fixing them the next day or even same day if made early enough. The office staff are similarly quite responsive and friendly. Neighbors seem to keep to themselves; I wouldn't expect much of a community feel at this complex. Overall, the Reserve is a decent place to live.
