Just enough

Half the washer and dryers never work. Elevator breaks every couple of weeks. Ceiling leaks water when it rains. Hallway they've constructed a funnel (plastic bag) combined with a PVC pipe and an orange home depot bucket to catch the leaking water when it rains. Can't make that up, it's actually pretty hilarious. All rolled in with continued rent increases because "costs" have increased. :) The aforementioned issues have existed since I moved in a few years ago, increased rent is going to good use I'm sure! Other than that... it's just enough.

Good, but management maintenance and comms could improve

Being located in Fenway is a big plus if you enjoy being near nightlife, restaurants, and happenings. The lofted studio layout makes for a spacious and light filled room compared to what studios normally look like in Boston. The price is not the worst considering location and aesthetic of the living space, but not the cheapest either. The biggest drawback is that the amenities and overall maintenance of the building don't seem to be a high priority to the management. For example, while it's nice that washers and dryers are in the building, most of them (8/10 or so of the machines) are often out of order and/or will eat your quarters. Likewise, out of the two elevators, only one really semi-consistently works. However, once to twice a month it will be out of commission too and sometimes residents will get stuck in it (speaking from experience). Likewise, I recall the certificate of inspection for that elevator being expired for over half a year (maybe more). Lastly, if you're requesting a repair of something in your apartment (HVAC issues, electrical issues, etc.) it might take multiple requests before you hear back from maintenance. All in all, the location and aesthetic of the apartments is great, while the management could do a better job at communication and maintenance.
