Typical Louisville

I've been a resident for 2 years. I chose the apartment for it's size and proximity to work. The management company before was ok, the maintenance was good, but some of the neighbors were dicey. The new management company is not as great on service, and is rough on tenants they consider undesirable. They also charge very high fees for any infractions. If my rent increase is too high on my next lease, I'll be leaving. Shame. It's a pretty building and a cute pied a terre.

Confusing and contradictory information from office.

The apartment is fine and the maintenance is good enough at the price. Most meighbors are quiet working people who are considerate. The office bills you for rent even after you've paid and is constantly threatening you and warning of dire consequences and possible eviction. They are friendly enough in person but have succumbed to the corporate model of threats and menace in lieu of efficiency and organization. It's ok for the price, but track your payments carefully if you don't want accidental court dates.
