APPLICATION CHARGES AND FEES: • $40 Application Fee per adult or guarantor (if applicable) is due at the time of applying. • $100 Non-Refundable Holding Fee per apartment due at the time of applying. • Security Deposit ranges from $250 up to a full month's rent (based on credit, employment, rental history).* • The Security Deposit must be paid in full within 72 hours of application approval, or your application will be moved to the Waitlist. • Short-term leases require additional monthly up-charge and are dependent on availability. Not good

I am going into my third year here. A year ago a new management company bought Berkshire and we got new local management. My lease has come up and apparently almost a year ago they phased out the govt. tax program I was on but never said a word. My new rent was going up 300.00 a month. The issue is I couldn’t move because the list for disabled people to get in anywhere else is at least a year. My problem is they should have notified everyone on any assistance plan the minute they were going to discontinue that plan. They don’t care about their residents no matter what they say. Either that or they are really stupid!!!!!

Staff changeover was a godsend

The location is fantastic, very close to grocery stores and entertainment. After the management changed I've had a much better experience dealing with staff. Previous staff members would regularly belittle me and ignore my comments due to some superiority complex. The new staff (and instruction from new management) has done away with such problems for the most part.
