MY THOUGHTS-FEELINGS RIGHT NOW

IT IS TOO EARLY FOR A BETTER ASSESSMENT BECAUSE WE JUST MOVED IN 8 DAYS AGO. SO FAR, IN MY THINKING AND FEELING, THE STAFF, BOTH MAINTENANCE AND FRONT OFFICE HAVE BEEN READY TO HELP WHENEVER THERE HAVE BEEN MAINTENANCE ISSUES AND OTHER QUESTIONS. REPAIRS HAVE BEEN PROMPT, BUT THERE ARE CONCERNS ABOUT THE EFFICACY, THE DURABILITY OF THE REPAIRS WHEN THINGS THAT ARE OUT OF THE POSSIBILITY OF LASTING REPAIR ARE KEPT, INSTEAD OF BEING REPLACED. THE KITCHEN WAS PAINTED, OVER LAYERS OF GREASE THAT WERE NOT PROPERLY REMOVED, BEFORE PAINTING HAPPENED. THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS NOT PROPERLY MAINTAINED OR SIMPLY OVERTAXED, OR PLAINLY, NEEDED REPLACEMENT, BEFORE WE MOVED IN: THERE WAS A RANK AND RANCID ODOR INDICATING THAT THIS MACHINE HAD SERVED ITS TIME AND WAS NOW DEFUNCT. IT IS LIKELY THAT BOTH THE CARPETS AND THE AIR CONDITIONING NEEDED REPLACEMENT AND MORE CARE WAS NEEDED BEFORE PAINTING A GREASE LADEN KITCHEN. THE LAUNDRY AND THE GYM ARE NOT KEMPT, SO FAR, AND I WILL BE LOOKING FOR REGULAR CLEANING SCHEDULED AND PERFORMED ROUTINELY SUCH THAT THESE SHARED COMMON AREAS ARE IN WORKING AND WORKABLE ORDER AND CLEANLINESS. THE POOL WAS CLOSED DUE TO A MISBEHAVING TEENAGER, WHO DEFECATED IN THE POOL, NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE. I WILL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING PARENTS AND TEENAGERS WITH THE EXPECTATION THAT THE RAMBLEWOOD COMMUNITY OF NEIGHBORS AND STAFF CAN HELP PREVENT THESE KIND OF ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIORS.
