Apartments in DTC

I have lived at Soleil Apartments for 4 years. Great location, higher rents and they increase each year at lease renewal, almost no guest parking, apartments have attached garage (2 bedrooms) or carport (1 bedrooms), beautiful swimming pool with grills and shade with tables and couches, firepit, workout room, great maintenance staff.

A bit overpriced but nice

The apartments are nice but walls are very thin so you can hear everything above and next to you. The rent has gone up about 250$ So for a 2br apartment it is pretty expensive. I like the area. And I’d people would pick up their dog poop it would be even nicer but a lot of ppl here do not pick up their dog poop.

The Management Here is a Joke

Ever since we got a new manager, the office has fallen apart. No one answers the phones, no one replies to emails, and I've gone by during business hours and no one is even in the office. I understand that the office is closed to the public, but I expect that the people are still doing their jobs and helping the current residents. Not answering the phones and emails has been a consistent problem with the staff, but this is an urgent matter and I still cannot get in contact with anyone. Empty apartment doors have been left unlocked and wide open, trash piles up and overflows in the dumpsters, ice is not cleared from many areas in the parking lot. Additionally, my rent was raised TEN PERCENT in one year, WHILE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. I think the two employees in the office do their best and are always very pleasant when I meet with them. However, I think the manager has caused more problems since coming on as manager of the complex, and I do not believe it should be impossible or take days to get in contact with the people in the office.
