What others love about this property:
Overall a nice place to live!
So far it's been a good experience living here! It's been a few months so I feel I can provide a more accurate review with pros and cons: Pros: - Good amenities, I haven't used them all yet but everything so far has been well kept and there's a wide variety depending on what you enjoy - Parking & guest parking are also really good, registering guests is extremely easy. I've never had a guest towed, I think I saw some people say they have but if you register them properly and they park on the 5th floor in an area with the orange guest sign you're good! Specifically to this, courtesy patrol manage the area at night to check people coming in and out. - Location is close to the freeway, mall, shops, etc., but not to the point where it's super loud - The office staff are extremely amazing, they're very helpful and knowledgeable. Regular email updates come from them too. - Noise isn't that bad at all, I live on a street facing unit so yes, if my windows are open I'll get some noise but when they're all closed it's pretty much silent. - Fire alarms don't go off as much as people have said and when they do, there's a follow up email explaining what happened - note, this is a smoke free building in every way possible. Cons: - When we arrived, our apartment appeared clean but there were some things I noticed that got me a bit; dish and laundry washer soap dispensers weren't properly cleaned, found hair/fur in some corners of the unit when I started cleaning, calcium build up on faucets and shower heads. Some paint on doors and walls weren't done well so are peeling. - Cabinet manufacturing for the holes to adjust height isn't very good, I tried to move them around a bit and they wouldn't sit level no matter what I did. I think there may have been more to say but so far things have been good here and I look forward to seeing how everything goes!

See Google review First week here and the fire alarm has gone off at night so loud
So far so good
Ive been here for a month and I have mixed reviews, they need a better package system. Residents leave their trash outside the trash room door. The work space has holes in the furniture and doesnt appear that its cleaned. The parking garage lost connection twice and they opted to leave the gates up which causes a safety issue. Its quiet here and i love it. I rarely ever hear my neighbors. The units themselves are spacious and beautiful. I dont understand painting the front doors the paint chips everytime you open and close it.
Worth the money
The Colony at the Lakes is a fantastic place to live. It's in a great location and has lots of things that make it really nice. Inside the condo, everything is modern and cool. The kitchen has really good appliances and plenty of space to cook. The living room is comfy and perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The bedrooms are big and cozy, giving you a great sleep. The best part is all the cool things inside the condo. You can control the lights and temperature with your phone, which is really neat. The entertainment system is like having a mini-theater at home. And the bathrooms are like fancy spas, which is super relaxing. Outside, there are more awesome things. A gym with all the exercise stuff, so you can stay healthy. A cool pool to swim in when it's hot outside. And nice outdoor places where you can chill and enjoy nature. There's also a place to work if you need it. The people who work here are amazing. The maintenance guy is like a superhero – he fixes things fast and is really nice. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. They do cool events for people living here, and they're always ready to help with anything you need. In short, the Colony at the Lakes is a super great place to live. It has awesome stuff inside and outside, and the people who work here are the best. If you want a place that's comfortable, convenient, and has a great community, this is the place to be.
