Sunnier than many parts of the fog-friendly Presidio, the historic Simonds Loop neighborhood has a lot to brag about aside from great weather. For one, its hillside location offers enviable views of San Francisco Bay, making great use of the large picture windows. The eye-catching looks of these four- and five-bedroom, Mission-style duplexes and one five-bedroom single-family home are more than skin deep. Built as officer housing before World War II, the updated interiors retain historic details in the formal dining rooms and living rooms, roomy kitchens, and spacious master suites. All units include attached garages, and all but one includes a basement. Simonds Loop is ideally positioned off of Presidio Boulevard between the Lombard and Presidio gates, making it close to great dining options both in and out of the park. The PresidiGo Shuttle and MUNI both stop nearby.

Extraordinary

I have lived in the Presidio for many years - It is a real gift to be able to be a steward of this remarkable park. I love interacting with visitors walking down the street.

Living in Presidio

We lived here since 2004. A great environment, but there are limitations on living conditions due to historical preservation requirements.

A Gift to Live Here

I have lived in the Presidio for three years. It's a dream. Never any problem finding a parking spot right outside our house, gorgeous nature and trails the moment I step outside our home, friendly and efficient maintenance workers, the list goes on! I highly recommend living here if you can. I hope I never leave.
