Seeing, hearing, walking along the beach. Walking trails across dune and thru woods. Attractive place.

Love living in the park, maintenance staff are timely, helpful and friendly. Park Police are very responsive and friendly. Administrative staff are very helpful and friendly...parking isn't always monitored so we see cars parked without placard and our neighbors kids are super loud....but that's not the park's fault :).

It's a gorgeous place to live in and has public transportation access. Whenever there is an issue, they respond in a timely manner.

Pretty much everything with here is great, but there are a few things that could be improved. When baker beach loses power due to severe weather, it usually takes longer amounts of time thay any other part of the presidio while baker beach is the most dense of residents. Parking is not always easy and when its a nice day, Pershing St used to be blocked to only residents but now often it gets flooded by non-residents going to the beach. Theres a tree leaning over our carport that looks like it would fall under a bad storm. I remember after the tree fell right next to it onto the carport from the bad storm a few years ago, that that other leaning tree would be taken down to as a precaution. This has not happened in the ~3-4 years since. These are are all little things that are inconvenienes and worries that i think cna be improved but otherwise enjoy living here.

Baker beach is such an amazing apot to live - we will miss the presidio when we leave. Not so far from Rigmond ahops and fantastic to live in the beauitful presidio with great trails ans the beach nearby
