I love living here at 1177 Market, my apartment has all new furnishings, the rooftop and top floor amenities are rare in san francisco, and I feel so safe.

The roof terrace and the gym are great, and the parking is very convenient but it's also a hot spot for concert goers so it's often trashed on the weekends or full of pre-gamers. And I've heard from neighbors that cars get broken into a lot. It's also pretty pricy compared to other garages. Leasing agents are kind and helpful, but the security folks tend to not really be paying attention much when people come in (staring at their phones or even sleeping full out snoring behind the desk). Having washer/dryer in the unit is a game changer though. It's noisy from the street, but the windows are very well insulated. The worst noise is neighbors dogs, some of which bark a lot throughout the morning/late evening. The package room is convenient and generally safe for packages being left for a day or two, and also has dry cleaning pickup/delivery. The neighborhood is very convenient location-wise, but there are a lot of fentanyl users on the streets, which can be heartbreaking to have to walk past on a regular basis. Public transit to/from here is great though.
