Discontentment

Hello, Through this email, I would like to express my discontentment with MG Properties. I live in 3895 Midway Drive apt 303 - San Diego -CA. I've been using the auto-pay option since I moved to California, I never had any problems with, until this month. I always paid my rentals IN DAY and never had a problem with any other rental company. For some reason, not explained by the leasing center, my automatic payment was not debited from my bank account. I contacted you by email asking what could have happened, I did not get an answer. Today, when calling the leasing office I was informed that I should make the payment manually and pay an extra $ 125 late fee for the delay. This is absurd, since it was not my fault. I contacted my bank and they informed me that they did not know the reason why there was not even an attempt to debit the amount from my bank account which had an amount above the rent. I paid the full amount today. It is frustrating because even though you explained by email and by phone, you did not try to solve an internal problem of yours. Another important issue is that before I moved here, I was informed that the construction would be completed by the end of September, obviously it has not yet been completed. Every day I need to clean my balcony because of the dust that comes from the construction. I could also mention the noise early on. You could have been more honest about it. I would also like to mention the constant delay in answering maintenance calls from the website. There were maintenance that took 1 month to be answered. Finally, I need to attach a photo of my apartment number, which until today has not been changed to the proper layout. I really want to know what kinds of steps will be taken by you to solve these problems. Thank you.

Review

Not what I expected and there was construction I wasn’t told about for the whole lease. Honestly I’m surprised after everything my roommates and I went through at Stoneswood that we didn’t get discounted rent. But whatever glad our lease is almost over so we can move.

Stonewood is great

I like Stonewood gardens mostly for the location. I don't have a car so parking isn't an issue for me and its close to a lot of things I can walk to so Stonewood is good for that. It is a bit pricy but everything is in this area.
