Property Description
What others love about this property:
Noisy, overpriced, and falling apart
Do you like hearing your neighbors stomping and pounding in the kitchen like you were living inside of a drum, on what could be the worst floors in any apartment complex? Do you enjoy having to stay at hotels while they fix broken water pipes that they've ruined through negligent maintenance, then fight them to reimburse you? Do you think you'll be amused by watching their staff incompetently cut through water pipes with reciprocating saws and adding another water feature to your apartment? Do you like recovering your car from tow lots after they've only given you a 24 hour notice to move it while you weren't home? And do you not know what a dollar is worth? Then boy do I have the place for you, Regents Court! Owned by the fabulous and entirely competent company Greystar, known for creating waterfalls in elevator shafts at their UTC apartment complex, and not answering their phones.
3 years here...
I love Regents Court. I have lived here for over three years. I think the style of the apartments is really lovely. I appreciate the laminate flooring, stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, and spacious closet within the apartment. The amenities are also very lovely, with specifically the fitness center being a favorite of mine. I will say that it definitely is a bit on the pricier side for what it is and the area it is in. The parking spots are almost all compact with significant turns in the structure so it can be a pain to find/get in and out of parking. Also, the walls are on the thinner side (adequate for normal activities) but you can sometimes hear your boisterous neighbors at times. Also, being close to so many hospitals, a police station and a fire station means sirens on the street side of the building throughout the night, especially since there are so many senior living communities nearby. Another thing is the internet, which your only option when I moved in was AT&T and it was pricey. I think there is a law that has been passed that requires that renters have options, but I'm unsure of its implementation and enforcement. I will say the leasing office employees are some of the kindest people I have met for renting and will work with you on any issue without sounding like they are annoyed with your requests.
Nice Place
I've lived here for about 3 years and it's a pretty good place overall although a bit on the expensive side. The location is great, it's a very safe neighborhood and there's a shopping mall and grocery store within walking distance. One of the nicest things about this apartment is the maintenance guys, every work order I submitted was immediately addressed within a few hours or a day at most, very responsive and quick. I'd recommend this apartment to a friend or family but with the caveat if they could comfortably afford the rent.
Great location
Recently moved into Regents Court. Loving the location, you have EVERYTHING you need in a 5 min drive radius. Gym could be better, but all the other amenities are more than enough.
Frequent Fire Alarms
Overall okay apartment. My biggest gripe is that this apartment has some serious issues with its fire alarms. Outside of scheduled alarm tests, it goes off randomly and frequently. Extremely disruptive and very annoying, especially when it goes off multiple times during a weekday night. It baffles me that they have so many testing and yet the fire alarm seems to be completely broken instead.
