There is insufficient insulation within the walls and between the units, particularly between the upstairs & downstairs apartments. Common sounds like walking, talking, television, closing cabinets & drawers, etc. can be heard between the units. There is insufficient insulation in the walls, making heating and cooling costly. Maintenance is subpar; it does not maintain the condition and quality of the property, repairs are done with minimal care and they rarely restore the fixture or property to the previous level or "like new" condition. Maintenance workers smoke cigarettes onsite and leave cigarette butts on the ground. The sprinkler system has been broken for nearly two years. Not all outdoor lights work. The clothes dryer vent is a fire hazard. My kitchen overhead light hasn't worked in over a year, it was removed and the handyman never returned to finish the work (wiring remains exposed, hanging down from the ceiling). Rent continues to increase year after year while the overall condition and state of the property degrades at faster rate, resulting in higher rent for a property in worse condition than in previous years.
