Arlington Farm Review
I have lived here for almost a quarter and I find it very nice and peaceful. Although every morning there are geese outside the noise level isn't very loud and is usually pretty quiet. If you're looking for a place to stay that's not near a busy area Arlington Farm will be a great choice.
Living Experience at Arlington Farm
This is my first year living with Arlington Farm, and I love living here! The area is nice, clean, and safe. The apartment itself is very roomy and cozy, and it doesn't feel like I am living with 5 other people! The staff at Arlington are always nice and helpful, so I am not afraid to reach out and ask questions. My neighbors are friendly and the overall environment is very welcoming. Arlington is a 10/10 place to live!
I really like Arlington Farm
Arlington farm has been a really great first apartment as a second year college student. Everyone is really nice and friendly. I really enjoy the study room that they provide as it has lots of outlets and is a very clean and pleasant place to work... and they have cookies :) Overall I would recommend this place to any college student with a group of friends that wants to connect with a nice community and have access to lots of hot tubs!!!
Pros & Cons of Arlington!
I haven't been living at Arlington for very long, but I have a pretty good feel for what it's like to live here. Firstly, the amenities are very nice: we have a pool, gym, laundry, and some nice green spaces. You do have to pay for laundry and the machines occasionally malfunction BUT generally, the maintenance team is great! They are super responsive and efficient in solving any problem. The staff is also amazing and cordial -- they are very responsive and they also do a lot of themed activities (treasure hunts, raffles, goodie bags) which I think is so cute. Though we are a bit far from the UCD campus, students have a nice bike lane along the road, as well as a bus stop that's right next to the Arlington properties. My only big complaints are about the parking spaces and the noise insulation. The parking spaces are quite narrow and we all struggle a bit to get in and out of our cars; however, there is an adequate amount of street parking that I use. Regarding the noise- the walls are a bit thin so my housemate and I can often hear each other, even when we are being quiet with the doors closed. Other than that, I really like living here so far! I absolutely love the layout of our apartment (we live on the second floor, so we have high ceilings and a living room conversation pit). The atmosphere is inviting and we have a beautiful space.
Great place to live
I just started living here in Arlington farms this year September. It has been awesome. The only downside is it is a bit far from campus, but the bus runs straight to Arlington, and it is the first stop so there are always seats. I think that the space in each room is awesome and everything feels really cozy.
