What others love about this property:
Place is walking distance from the mall.
I have lived here for 5 years now. The place is quite at nights. You can take walks late at night and feel safe. The park is a good thing to have right being the aprtment complex amd the mall is only a short 10 minute walk now that the bridge over the 125 way finished. Less Prices could be better but for the convenience of having the mall close by, a food place downstairs, market, and barber shop, it’s not bad.

Great place to live, but expensive.
My experience in Contessa has been pleasant. it has a great location, near the Otay Ranch mall, and convenient stores within the complex. I have live here 5 years until May 2021 and then came back on February 2023. The staff is great, the gym, the park, the schools, it is definitely a prime location. I will definitely recommended to anyone looking to have a place to call home with excellent customer service and great location.
could be better
I've been a resident at Contessa for 5 years. We've gone through several staff members since I lived here. The rent keeps increasing so much, more than $1000. I know for certain it will go up another $600 next year. My neighbor is very loud, they blast their music so loud my walls shake. I contacted building management but have gotten no progress. I love my townhouse but I feel I can't truly call it home because I feel I'm slowly being kicked out. With the noise, the way rent is increasing so much every year and also the vibe which is, it is the way it is, deal with it!
Place went downhill
I've lived here for two and a half years and the last half of a year have been an utter disappointment. Maybe the area is going downhill but this has become home to the most disruptive and inconsiderate neighbors. Using subwoofers, talking loudly on their phones at 11 pm, and barking dogs all around just left on porches. The staff in the office answer the phone 1 out of every 20 times I would say, emails go unanswered, and complaints unacknowledged.
